Finally I've got this golden opportunity to update over here! I've been rather lazy for the past few days. Not that the workload is killing me; in fact, it's only the first week of school! What kind of workload could you expect? lmao. Mmm, let's see. Classes for the first week were.... O.K. :O Just O.K. not more; not less. I'm currently taking up... 1.. 2... 5. Yes, 5 modules for this semester.. Basically, there is only one module which requires the use of our laptops - Java Programming. I don't know if it's just me; but seriously, I find that my bag has got a lot heavier compared to the last sem -.-; And then! It certainly feels weird being a DMIT student and yet NOT attending for classes within the DMIT block :/ I know the process of going uphill is a pain in the * but it still feels weird though :/

AND YOU KNOW WHAT!

I had my General Education class on Thursday AND AND GUESS WHAT!? Just when I thought it's going to be GG.com for my PLJ, my lecturer actually gave us a final chance to make any 'necessary' amendments to our set goals! xD So yea, I was finally able to change my freaking 'tough' one into a much simpler one :)

I've been quite, I repeat: QUITE... into tweeting lately :/ Well.. I HAVE BEEN! ....but y'all know everything needs a break to it :P My tweets gradually went slower in pace and yea.. I stopped. And all thanks to this !~!@#$%^&#%*&-ic/-ing module - Social Media Marketing, eventually- I got back to it ._.;

Yesterday evening shucked. Got back home after dinner with sis and then I suddenly realised there was blood on my file! :O I knew I had to look for the source of it. I 'scanned' through my left palm. SHEEEESH! BLOOD! But no... the source wasn't anywhere there. I then 'scanned' through my right palm. O_O; Why in the world is my index finger tip all bloody :O I was finishing my cup of frappe then, so yea, I dipped my finger into one of the water droplet on the table and... there were actually 2 cuts -.-; one of them is the normal cuts we usually get, (like one you'll get after running your finger on the blade of a scissors? :x); the other was like taking a sharp end and slitting it beneath your finger nail. I thought those 2 wouldn't be much of an obstruction to continue working on my stuffs - GRIP A PEN, MAPLE/AUDI etc etc. BUT TO MY DISMAY, I wasn't able to perform any of the actions I mentioned ._.; I tried gripping my pen. The part where I usually assert pressure on happens to be where the cut it -.-; All right then. Forget gripping then. Audi. I tried playing Audi. the 'ultimately retarded' way. I was playing with only my 3rd 4th 5th (last) finger. It would have worked fine if and only if I'm used to playing that way. It IS possible to do so, but wasn't good at it at all :( I seriously hope it'll heal asap. I don't wanna drag till it's Monday - SHEESH! LOL. It better not... it better not.

I'm sorry I wrote this post in a disorderly manner. Anyway, goodbye for now :)

TBH, I'd never expect to make my 'comeback' THIS soon! :O
You see, the case is that my feet are rather swollen? -.-; ...prolly due to 'excessive' *coughs* walking around yesterday ._. ANNNND MY SORE EYE HASN'T FULLY RECOVER YET! ...Yes, yes, I know.. imma lousy fella... :(

Anyway, we reached the woodlands checkpoint and had everything settled at 4:44am yesterday, which, in fact, happened to be the same time I woke up this morning -w-; Managed to wake up at this hour 'cause we (my parents and I) practically went to bed at 9pm AND mom was like complaining non-stop about how much she was sweating as it was really hot for her :O I don't know why but I didn't sweat; NOT even a bit until 4:44am - that is when both dad and mom sat by my bed, (practically blocking air) complaining about the heat LOL. No.. I'm one big sweat-er myself too, so there's no reason to say that I'm used to it (the heat) since I've been staying in my room for the whole of the past semester ._. Mehhh~

The complaint actually went on for more than half an hour then they came to a decision - to fix an exhaust(?) fan in the room -.-! Whilst the complaint went on, I actually went on-line to look for some ideas to GO GREEN. I was kind of envious to see those great pieces others created and I thought that I should just give up going green instead. Another reason was that the deadline is supposed to be TODAY and starting to work on the design ONLY TODAY means that I'll be short of time since I procrastinate a lot. (It seems that I was so worried about the time factor that my mom heard me sleeptalking, "MM GAO SI GAN AH!" (literally: Not enough time ah; in cantonese).. Just then, Resha gave me a message and well... she encouraged me to go on with it :O! Lols. To be honest, I greatly appreciate this friendship 'cause even though we do not know each other in real life but she's always supporting me and my work! xD I thank YOU, Resha! Seriously, thank you! :)

*Edit: Sheesh D: Just happened to refresh my browser which had the logo submission page loaded from earlier on and GUESS WHAT! ...submissions are already closed. *facepalm* so once again, S.h. fails the day -_-; just when I got my hopes high to start on the designing... blehs :/

Lesson learnt: Even though they say that the competition deadline is on a certain date, it doesn't mean that submissions will be open until 11:59pm on that day :<

Mhmm, my personal thoughts about this: I don't really have this Go Green mindset -.-; Instead, I'm more of the environment-killer type of person? D: So joining this competition would be a whole lot of hypocrisy zzz; There's another reason why I'm considering to join too, that is - by joining this competition, I MAY be able to make a progress in the lame goal achievement thingy for my PLJ (Personal Learning Journey) in which my goal set was: participate AND win in at least 3 digital designing competitions. I'm currently done with one competition already, I'm still left with 2 ._. so that's why I'm thinking of joining this you see! Although it isn't a 100% win for this, but I guess it should be best if I give it a try uh? ...like, who knows~! O.o;

WHAT I MEAN TO SAY IS THAT!:S.H. MAY START BEING LAGGISH FOR THE TIME BEING 'CAUSE TIME IS CATCHING UP AND S.H. HAS STILL QUITE A LOT TO DO BEFORE SHE RETURNS TO.... study life -.-;

SO ANYWAY! S.h. needs help in deciding on a name for this new fella here :D Ahh, by the way, IT IS another 'gender-unknown' thingy just like Pinegeh!

As most of you should know, the name Pinegeh, actually comes from the combination of both 'PINEapple' (head) and 'tauGEH' (legs; 'taugeh' is another 'NAME'(?) we use in reference to bean sprouts by the way!)... So.. ya, I'm thinking of naming this new fella the same way like how the name Pinegeh came about!

Well you see! This lil' fella has something like....
1. a head of 'grassy-hair'(?)... and uh...
2. a 'mummy/onion'-like body :O

So... any suggestions for S.h.? :D

Lulz, so you must be wondering what's with the guy on the left! Why it's the latest re-trace piece I've been working on lately! :)

Mmm, yesterday was quite... a day o.o;
Firstly it was dad's birthday... and then later in the day I received this surprise mail from my Web Client Development (WCD) module teacher :O!

What's so surprising is that she's actually trying to get me into taking up this... "paid part-time graphic design work" thingy for students O_O!

Sounds interesting eh? ikr! -w- So ya, told pama about it and they were like "GO AHEAD~ :DD" << especially with mom. LOL. Anyway, the requirements were pretty... c-h-a-double L-to the e-n-g-to the i-n-g~ (just in case you don't know what shiat I just typed, it's 'CHALLENGING' anyway -w-;)...

1 - know Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
2 - be independent
3 - be able to manage datelines
4 - be creative and have a good sense of design

And so... my comments about them:
1 - since I'm quite a Photoshop 'freak', so ya.. I'm fine with the second half.. But the first half... -.-; You see, I DID try to make Illustrator my third best buddy after Photoshop and Soundbooth.. but... ah... ya... you know.. ugh .__.;

2 - I asked mama what it meant by 'being independent' and she said that it means to be able to work on your own, without the help of others... If 'being independent' was really how mama put it, then I guess I should be fine with it :O

3 - This.. lulz.. well it all depends I guess~ As long as Zero-Inspiration don't come haunting me at the wrong time... and I reset my Procrastination to LEVEL 1... then yaaaa, I'm fine with this point too :D

4 - I may not be VERY confident with THIS. BUT after my many trips to malls or wherever, I realised that the term 'creative design' SOMETIMES (I repeat.. SOMETIMES) has a 'standard' much lower than that I've always had in mind. Take for instance, simply just a few splashes of colourful brushes on a piece of white cloth can already be considered a tee-design which always seems to be able to attract hundreds of buyers! :O I won't say that I'm creative, nor will I say that I have a good sense of design 'cause most of my pieces you see (on this blog especially) are more or less of the same 'concept'/'style'/whatever you call it. So I guess I'd give this point a difficulty level of 4.0 out of 5.0 ba? :x

So... should S.h. give it a try?
I personally think that I SHOULD! xD

I've returned to MapleStory just recently and FINALLY got my Mech to make a 3rd job advancement! :D This is the second time I've ever 'chiong-levelled' bah!

The first time (for my Hermit) was a 'shortcut' 'cause there was this.. Rice Cookie event during that time whereby you have to collect 1 honey, 1 something and another something to be exchanged for a Rice Cookie.. and ya.. you'd be awarded 2k exp for each Rice Cookie being exchanged. That was also my first time getting my character to 3rd job (from scratch! - Level 1!) within a few weeks' time -w-;

As for my Mech which I 'dumped' at level 63... I managed to hit level 65 by competition PQ, and then 'INTENSIVE TRAINING' (just the day before yesterday) in getting her from level 65 to level 69 :D As for the final level, guess what I did! - travelled all the way to Korean Folk Town to complete the library quests which awarded quite a decent amount of EXP each :) So yaaaaaaa, the end -w-;

Oh ya, I was thinking of creating a Knight of Cygnus character on the same account so that my Mech will be able to benefit from the Blessing of Fairy thingy uh! But I don't know which class to go with :/ Any suggestions? LOL.

For some reasons unknown, S.h. feels GREAT ever since yesterday evening till now! :O

It isn't much of a bad thing anyway... and I guess prolly it was because of the wonderful church people I met these 2 days ba! *Coughs* ALLOW S.H. TO LIST THEM... in order :x Aunty Lucy, Aunty Cynthia, Aunty 'something', [no... I WAS told of her name, but within that blink of eye her name just happened to get erased from my memory... ugh.. sorry ><;] Aunty Agnes, Pastor Elaine, Aunty Grace, Aunty Ann Tan, Aunty Kim Bee, Aunty Peggy&husband, Pastor Jeya, Aunty Shyla&husband [sorry, forgot name as well ._.], Aunty Susan and last but not least Aunty Flora. Yaa... that 'long' list of name were the people whom I got to have a 'talk' with yesterday :) Ah ah! Not leaving out the awesome people who led us in praise&worship for yesterday night's service. I didn't speak to them but it sure was great to see them in person: [Aunty?] Wern Sze together with both her backups - Joanna and Beverly :D

This morning I went to church as well with the main purpose of delivering the bag of candies that Joanne asked for from Singapore. -w-; Maybe it's just me... Joanne didn't really seem happy to see me :O! But anyways, I tried to keep 'cool' and quickly settled the sum with her ._. Mhmm, to think of it, I managed to see quite a number of old faces while waiting for the Chinese service to start. First couple I saw in church right after I got out of the car was Uncle Charlie and Aunty Irene.. then it was Aunty Cynthia [again], Joanne and parents, Aunty Cheng Gaik&husband, Aunty Grace [Lols, yea... again. In fact the second reason I went to church was to listen to her preach at the Chinese service.], AND THEN THE BEST OF ALL! LEE JO EE! HAHAH. Boy I was really glad to see her! She was my Sec. 4&5 classmate by the way! xD We had quite an awkward convo. and then blah blah blah~ [AFTER THE SERVICE]... saw a couple of other people.. Uncle Paul.. Uncle Sum.. Uncle something -.-; [Jo Ee's uncle (if i'm not mistaken)] annnddd et. cetera... Sighs ._. I'm starting to realise this bad habit I have here - once I start writing, there's no way you could stop me -.-; oh well oh well. TO CUT SHORT. WE HAD LUNCH WITH GRANDMA AND COUSIN EVA :3

So it was this morning before leaving for church that I suddenly got all crazy and started searching on YouTube for HaHa's live performance of his "How Are You?? Fine Thank You!!" song o.o;! You can call me a 'hardcore' Running Man fan [which was what WanTing said of me] 'cause SERIOUSLY, I've been enjoying the show so much lately that I actually started digging my big folder of Korean songs for Kim Jong Kook's albums and all -w-! Anyway! It was only this morning when I was on hunt for HaHa's video that I got to know about the release of his comeback mini album... which was on the 19th of Sept. aosjdalsdjflas I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN EARLIER! SERIOUSLY! D; Oh well -.-; the tracks are pretty much catchy, there were a few other songs from his older singles which are being compiled into this album as well.

AND THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT EXACTLY GOT ME INTO SEARCHING FOR RAGNAROK ONLINE OST ALL OUT OF A SUDDEN :O AND HEY! I never knew they actually released this special OST with a few of the BGMs being SUNG. O_O! Woa, seriously... It was quite a great 'DISCOVERY' for me. And.. to be honest, I wouldn't mind putting these soundtracks on repeat [that is IF I ever get to have them! D;]

Time certainly DO fly and today's already my 7th day being in Ipoh.
I hate to say; but seriously, to think of it, I've spent my past 6 days here practically doing nothing but rubbish. D:

Ipoh hasn't changed much...~ I guess? Okay, it isn't fair to say so 'cause I've been 'locking' myself in the house for most of the time ever since I returned? :x So... ya.... -w- I don't know how much it changed; BUT I'm very certain of THIS - THE WEATHER HAS BECOME MUCH HOTTER COMPARED TO THE LAST TIME I WAS HERE! :'( It's true that I'm missing many of the things here, but THAT feeling of being all sticky is certainly NOT something which I'm missing of. -.-;

I'm being indecisive lately... I've been receiving quite a number of e-mails from the school peeps and two of them have rather caught my attention ._.;

The first one has got to do with some International Students Club thingy. So the case is that they're about to decide on the new committee. Being CCA-less [CCA: Co-Curricular Activity/ies], I thought that this would be a fine opportunity for me to get involve in something, at least. After browsing through the list of positions available, I SORT OF decided on applying for this [considering the 'fact' that I'm quite a computer freak] -

IT and Publicity Coordinator

· Take care of our ISC website & email (Gmail account), MIKE maintenance & updates.

· Update our latest news and pictures/videos on ISC website.

· Update all online ISC accounts such as Friendster, Facebook, Yahoo Groups, etc.

But then something came to my mind. Since I'm CCA-less, would they even consider taking me in as a committee member? There's only two possible ways they'd put it: 1. Okay, I'm CCA-less - which means that I'll be able to pay more attention to my duty and do a good job; 2. I'm CCA-less - which means that I don't really hold any 'potential' in being able to handle what my duty requires me to do ._. Sigh... I don't know if I'm actually placing stumbling blocks ahead of me. More and more negative thoughts just seem to pop-up in my mind :/ Like - what if this position is only fully in-charged by one person, then will I be blamed on if I don't get to update stuffs on time? :o That's indecisive #1 anyway...

The second e-mail has got to do with some earn CCA point thingy.. BY supporting our course-mates in a competition which will be held on the last day of the long break [16th]. This isn't much of a big deal anyway. But I just tend to be bothered by it -.-; And so, here's the case: My parents and I will be leaving for Singapore on the 12th [night], so yea, we'll be arriving early morning on the 13th. Then I guess it'll be up to just the three of us on how we're going to spend the 13th and 14th there [since school+work-life goes on as usual over there]. Then it'll be on the 15th and 16th when [I THINK] sis and bil will be able to spend some time with mom and dad? [Well I wouldn't be surprised if something 'DIFFERENT' happens on those days since my 'predictions' have always been failing me. LOL.] Sis planned to spend the five hundred dollars RW Sentosa vouchers which I won from the Masthead Design Challenge the other time when mom and dad is in Singapore AND the only possible days would either be on the 15th [Saturday] OR on the 16th [Sunday]. So you see, I don't know how to decide: 1. Forget about the earn CCA point thingy and leave Sunday a free day as well [even if something else comes up on Saturday - and the plan to spend the 500 fails - there's still Sunday]; or 2. BY HOOK OR BY CROOK - spend the 500 on Saturday so that I'll be able to go for the Sunday thingy...

I think I'm quite done with the second one I mentioned above. Most probably I'll just go with decision #1, that is to skip the CCA point thingy. It's just 1 CCA point anyway [my intention is not 100% on earning that ONE CCA point though :x]. I guess I'll just start earning CCA points the more 'appropriate' way by getting into a club in year 2 [THAT IS, IF, TIME ALLOWS ME TO! xD]

Anyway, today's Saturday! :D ...which means that I'll be attending church service tonight! 오랜만이야~ CGMC! <3 But still, I don't want the weekends to come to an end so quickly :( So far I've started working on the backbone of ONLY ONE of the cards I've planned to make ._. I don't know how to actually end this post, but I'm running out of space anyway, so... ya... THE END! :)

I should have posted this earlier, but I didn't feel like doing so - the same old reason: lazy -3-
lols. so yea, today's my 3rd day back in ipoh~ <3
left the airport at 11:11a.m. [EXACTLY] last sunday, got back and started my 'lazing' schedule :x
Feeling quite tired on that day itself, went to bed at 8:30p.m. -.-; [crazy huh! ikr.. :/]

As for the 2nd day, woke up at 9 in the morning -.-! [when I actually said to wake up at 6:15a.m.] LOL.
Phail phail phail~ You see, I'm currently trying to 'live life the way I usually did' - which means to sleep at 10p.m. [which, in my opinion, is most unlikely possible] and to rise at 5:30a.m. [which I've TRIED to do so but phailed for these 2 mornings]...
Anyway, went out with parents to do some shopping and got home after lunch, around 1p.m.
Then I decided to try entering Alicia [which I left to patch before leaving the house]. WOOTSA! You don't know how happy was I to see the.. the... the.... the THING [picture]! LOL. ..which meant that it IS able to load = I CAN PLAY ALICIA AT LONG LAST! :D

I had quite a hard time trying to recall how to play when SUDDENLY! *phone vibrates* :O!

Anyway, we had lunch outside [my 2nd round :x] and managed to catch up with each other baaaah (:
Oh well, that good time together quickly passed and it was time to bid farewell.

And so, I returned to my seat [here] and continued trying out Alicia :x
The hours flew by quickly as well and soon enough I was in bed and morning came.

Today:
Woke up at 8a.m. this morning. As usual, the same thing I do whenever my alarm rings during the 6th hour - *Dismiss* -.-! Now that's very phail of me :/ I could have set the alarm to a later time rather than to get woken up for once [just to dismiss the alarm] and then falling back to sleep. Oh yea, whatever~

So... today's the 'big day' for us SP-ians. Yupp, it's the day of release of our semester 1 results. It seems that the results were already out EARLY morning [around 1/2am? O.o;] I knew nothing about that but I DID receive a notification e-mail with my grades. It was at 9+ when I received another SMS from SPEXAM which had the semester GPA included as well. Then at 10 the results for our school of DMIT were officially released. Then one by one, people started signing in on various platforms. Some were satisfied. Some weren't. And there were a few with mixed feelings as well. As for myself, I couldn't ask for more but to be satisfied with what I got. :) Whatever it is, AIM TO DO BETTER FOR THE NEXT SEMESTER BAH PEEPS! We can't turn back time neither will anything change if we keep moaning over our mistakes bah! So, ya... let's just march on and forward: forget the 'past'; but instead, strive for success for the coming future bah :D

So far what I've planned to be done in Ipoh before I leave for Singapore again is at zero-progress. :/ Even the timetable I set yesterday night doesn't seem to work. Hate this feeling... much. :(

Even before the end of semester test, me, together with a few other classmates signed up for some course fieldtrip which was TODAY! :) Apparently, my class rep., who also signed up, forgot all about it. My friend gave him a call the very last minute and it seemed that he sounded as if he was still in bed then... The other guy who signed up for the trip didn't turn up as well, so ya... it was just me and this other friend, Kim.

There weren't many people who turned up. Among the many were two of our future classmates (who are currently in separate classes). Both of them looked fine; but, no... we didn't speak to them at all -_-;

The bus was rather spacious. ...and I kind of take pity for the teacher who's in-charged of taking us there~ She was a little blur... and all :/ Perhaps this is her first time taking students out on fieldtrips as such huh? :O

Anyway~ we visited 2 places: the first being the IHPC (Institute of High Performance Computing) and the second being the Land Transport Authority -w-

There's actually quite a lot to write about the trip; but, 'HAPPY' ZERO INSPIRATION DAY... to ME... AGAIN! Sighs.. :(

Back to the post title! It's quite a lame story anyway xD

The trip ended after the Land Transport Gallery visit. And yes, it just ended there, you gotta GET. HOME. YOURSELF. -.-; Good thing I had Kim with me then.. lols, else i'll be likea total idiot standing there feeling all - l.o.s.t. - ._.

So anyway! ...it's my second time having to change trains o_o~

//To those who understand the 'language' :P

My first time was quite a 'sudden'(?) one. As in, by right, there shouldn't be any changing of trains involved. However, it so seemed that the train which was supposed to be moving towards the other end of the GREEN line (Joo Koon) ended up heading towards Marina Bay or something (which is on the RED line?) ...so yea, I had to switch to get back home :/ As for today's switching of trains, it was my first time *coughs* ...being on the PURPLE LINE. LOLL. :X

I was told well of the station to get off... blah blah blah, so basically there wasn't any problem in getting onto the other train home (unlike the first time when I was all alone -.-;!)

Oh well, should I be glad or something? xD

Through this loooong journey I had this afternoon, I finally got myself to experience what my other classmates have to go through every morning just to get to school! :O

Anyway, I think it was just last week? ...that I completed a singaporean drama which was being aired at that time. It felt good returning to singaporean dramas after years of not watching them. Lols. And to be honest(!) as I was watching the series, I had this completely different feeling xD Now how do I put it... it's like you actually feel 'at home' while you watch the drama, prolly 'cause it's being filmed locally. LOL. Okay, of course it'd be the same if suppose I were to watch a malaysian drama which was filmed... say... in Kuala Lumpur (AND that I stay in Kuala Lumpur), watching the drama would give me the same feeling ba I suppose :P

Kay, enough of crapping. By the way, the show is called On The Fringe 边缘父子. Personally, I liked the show mainly because of its genre (action!) baa. Not everybody likes action; but STILL!... I. Recommend. YOU! To~ Watch! :D

Like I've mentioned in my previous post, I'll be writing about poly life for this current one ba :)

Without much to do, allow me to fire away!~

Alright, first and foremost, Singapore Polytechnic (SP) is where I'm studying now :)

Very BIG, great facilities, good food, wonderful lecturers and last but not least, awesome classmates :D

Oh ya, I'm attaching some photos taken by daddy dad of SP at the end of the post.

Trust me you won't wanna be there all alone especially on the first day of school WHICH I, myself have already experienced it -.-;

And here comes the llooooongggggggggg story of day 1 studying in SP :P

I remember it was the first day when I had to reach school earlier to settle some late enrolment stuffs :/

I went there, hoping that I could get everything settled at the student service centre but no... I was told to go to some... international students admissions office or whatever which is located at one end of the poly (best thing was that I had to go back to the OTHER end of the poly for my lessons which was about to start in half-an-hour's time).

Picture the situation in which you have to stop more than 15 people just to get there! :(

So ya, my first day of lessons started like that? ...which wasn't of any fun at all :/

Then rushing back to the other end of the poly for lessons was quite a challenge as well :x

I was left with 15 minutes to get to class. If we are to speak about NOW... having known the places in poly much better than the first day, 15 minutes is just nice (I think?) to get back from the admissions office to class? lols. So... 15 minutes to get back there (anddddd to look for the classroom as well) was rather tough for a noob like me :P

You don't know how relieved I felt as the DMIT building slowly got in sight :x

However, stupidity got me at that time when I started asking where in the world is my classroom (when it was just very, VERY near me -.-;) LOL.

Can't blame me; I was told not to attend the freshmen orientation programme (in which I missed out lots) :(

All thanks to this kind young lady I found my way to class -w-;

Went in and WOOOOAAAAAHHHHHHHH! YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE IT; IT WAS LIKE.. LIKE.. HEAAAAVEEEEENNNNNNNNN. (OK, VERY EXAGGERATING -.-;)

It was air-con blowing on me anyway. LOL. Just what I needed the most at that time.

CYOT/FT/1A/02 (my uhh... kinda 'awesome' class :x):

Stood at the classroom door but there wasn't anybody inside -_-;

Then one guy appeared! (First impression: EH?! ...why does he look like wooyoung -w-;) HAAHAH. Didn't know; but, he's my classmate anyway xD Penang guy. Smartie :/

Anyway, two other guys came along, then only I found out they're in the same class also :x

After discussing among themselves whether should they enter the classroom or not, in the end, they did. And so~ the dummy (me :P) just followed them in. Lols.

Few minutes laaaaaaaaaaaaattttttteeeeeeeeeeeerrrrr, the whole class came, in a group.

Seeing the girls, I thought I'd never get close to them. I'll tell you why!

- 1 of them looked likea gangsta (oops!)

- 1 of them looked kind of serious (like the type whom you shouldn't joke with)

- 1 of them looked damn cool (however I learnt that she was sick at that time. LOL. that's why...)

- 1 of them looked like the very matured type

- 1 of them looked and sounded (she was the only one who spoke up the most during the lesson) like the 'if-i-shoot-u-u-will-shoot-me-back-with-lotsa-scary-vulgar' type LOLLOL. Aiya, but anyway, I found out that she's rather friendly afterall :)

My first day was like one of those in secondary school - BREAKTIME! > almost everybody left as a gang; as for me, I isolated myself -_-; (seeee seee! that's one of the greatest thing which I missed for not attending the orientation programme - NO FRIENDS AT ALL! :( 친구 없어요~!)

ANYWAYYY... it was break time.. and to be honest I can't recall what I did/where I went o_o;

(like.. DUH~ this post is supposed to be posted like.. on the 18th of April itself? < first day of lessons in SP) Oh well, the only thing I can remember of is that I certainly did went hunting for the next classroom for the next lesson after break -w-;

Found it. Waited. Entered. Lessons started.

It was Infocomm Security (ISEC). Played self-isolation again. Chose a seat at the back.

First 'GROUP' discussion was a total failure. LOL.

It was then that I only discovered another guy like me - self-isolate + quiet all the way (but he's doing great with his current gang anyway :o)

Then there was another guy, who was acting all ignorant at that time during discussion time...

...first day of school mar anyway, can't expect much from each other ba...? :P [even the dummy me was sitting there quietly; waiting to 'receive instructions' from the actively talking two 'security' guys]..

That awkward moment quickly passed, and so did the lesson.

There was this one hour free period whereby we did our own stuffs ._.;

And so it was during this one hour's time, the CYOT/FT/1A02 facebook group was formed~! :x

One and a half hour's of Database Management System (DBMS) lesson followed.

We finally got to meet our Personal Tutor (PT) - Mr. Yee xD

Class reps. were chosen as well during that period of time - Benjamin & Gui Yu.

I wonder what happened after that o_o; seems like that's all? LOL.

So yea, that wraps up my long-winded story of my first day studying in SP~ -w-;

What you see now, the blog template, is actually what I've done for one of my assignments which comprised of stuffs learnt through both the modules - Digital Visual Design (DVDE; a module in which you learn about Photoshop-ing) as well as Web Client Development (WCD; a module in which you learn about HTML codings...? Et. cetera...)

i was reading some patch notes about this BIG change on the Global site as well as on Spadow's.

So it seems there'll be a new EXP curve! o_o;

The EXP curve should be the same for both Global and SEA, i guess?

i'm gonna use this last part to just share a lil' of my gaming experience. HAHAHA. =w=;

Yuuuuuuupp! Regular 'follow-up-ers' of my blog should have known that i've been into another game; Alicia ;D

Mmm, apparently, i've reached level 25 BUT my racing skills doesn't seem like i've leveled at all from level 1 =_=;

It's rather disappointing 'cause i've most of the time raced last in the normal (individual) speed race mode and magic mode -.-;

HOWEVER, i managed to find out something in which i'm useful at: HOLDING BACK OPPOSING TEAM MEMBERS!

YEAHHHH LOL.

It was just yesterday morning when i planned to join in a round or two of the magic TEAM mode racing that i've discovered this 'amazing skill' of mine. LOL.

The game didn't last for only one or two rounds anyway, it lasted up to 7 continuous rounds of victory xD

Racing last isn't that bad you see..

'cause when you're last... you'll get every single opportunity to catch up as well as to attack the opposing team members in front! HAHA.

Mmm, so i say, you can actually sort of like uhh.. apply this in real life as well? :O

It doesn't matter if you seem lacking behind, "just know that you have done your best in your capacity"! Just keep working harder and you're sure to achieve the same 'victory' someday! :D

Well of course it also depends on the situation, like having great TEAMWORK when you're in a team or something :)

I'm seriously LOVING this game!

It's like a whole new experience for me in the MMOG world!

Baaaah~ In fact, I'm loving it 'cause of IU. LOL.

A welcoming note, I suppose? LOL.

NPC Grandpa Thomas. The very first NPC you'll meet.

Another cute bunny NPC. Didn't really bother to guess its name -.-; too many characters LOL.

It asked for a name for your horse. Stupid me, got too excited about the game and ended up ignoring the words. I simply clicked around and got quite a funny name for my horse >>; .. which meant, 'forever agile' or something. @@;

This certainly is something I like very much of the game. They have this... instant 'dictionary' sort of thing. When you come across terms which you don't really understand, just simply click on the term and a window will pop-up, explaining whatever you needa know. Handy, right?

This is when waiting in a game room with the others. 1 room holds up to 8 players. Once everybody is ready, the race starts~

Races start off in 2 different ways respectively. One of them is with all players in the room lined-up at the starting line... and then 3, 2, 1, GO! The other is with all horses, already racing, 3, 2, 1 and you continue the racing (picture).

Results after the end of a race.

This, so far, has only appeared once, telling you you've finally got to another level (level up).

This appears when you sort of like err.. 'upgrade' your horse? For the horses, they have this 'class UP' thingy which adds to you STAT Points. The stats available for horses are namely, Agility, Bravery, Breakthrough (something like that), Muscular Strength and last but not least, Competition. As certain stats reach to a certain value, the horse sort of like get a 'grade'? >>; I'm really not sure about this atm LOL. Ps. :x

This is also some level up thingy. As the level gets higher, you'll be able to do more stuffs with your horse to increase the intimacy / the horse's 'attractiveness' LOL. Beauty! Whatever o.o; I've missed something out =.=;! In this game, you'll be feeding your horse, cleaning it, brushing it and all! :D

Gaaaah, I seriously hope that NTREEV USA will release an English server for this game. I'm predicting that they WILL! LOL. THAT WILL take time, since the Korean server's still kinda fresh, but we'll just wait bah :)

맞다!

About the carnival. LOL.

I finally figured it out.

So it all happens like this.

First, you'll be racing with the others in a 'Carnival Audition'.

This audition race is rather random.

'cause it's like, you've been playing in that same game room for some time.

Then suddenly the next round of race happens to be the audition.

Alright.

After the race. One horse will be randomly chosen for the Carnival. (picture below)

Then, you'll receive an inbox message saying that your horse has been chosen... Blah blah.. (picture below)

From what I understood of the message, it mentioned that the Carnival will be held at night of that very day your horse was chosen.

I suppose it's like a non-player-existent race. LOL.

It's like err, you (as the player / owner of the horse) do not need to be present (online) for the race.

I'm saying this because I wasn't able to online that night for the race ANDDDDD there weren't any further details like.. at what time it's gonna take place, so on and so forth.

The next morning, I got this other inbox message (AGAIN!) which I assumed tells me about the results? o.o;

Then I was lead to this Carnival Results table indeed! :D

'Forever Agile' (LOL) didn't really do great :x

From what I see, I only got 1,000 game $$? HAHA!

When the others got like.. 25K game $$? 대박!

It doesn't matter anyway.

'cause my horse being chosen for the carnival was just pure luck I'd say.

(I raced number 8 in the audition =.=; which was last >>;) now that's double hit.

Just... looking at the progress chart is simply inspiring enough.

Hmm... I don't know why, but I seriously think that this progress chart thingy is kinda encouraging at times :x

It is rather effective in pushing you forward in completing that something which you've been working on! :D

Yupps, and since I've been lagging for quite some time on my PS projects, I've decided to make one of those progress charts not only to catch up on my lagged off work but to also enable me to drop by the blog more often :)

Supposingly, we have 2 periods History on Thursdays,

We ended up having a total of 4 periods on that day itself! GAH D:

I LOVE HISTORY, BUT I COULD HARDLY RESIST MY EYES FROM CLOSING X-X;

1st 2 periods of the day nia,
I fell asleep. -.-;
Surprisingly 'cher didn't notice that I was asleep!

Suddenly woke up and realised, why in the world did i write mendiuh -_-

Woke up for a few seconds again, realised the mistake,
*STRIKES OFF "RM 500"*
In my 1/2 awake 1/2 asleep state,
I wrote "narsha" to replace the "RM 500"

ONCE AGAIN!
Awake for 2-3 seconds, saw the mistake AGAIN-
STRIKED OFF "narsha"-
Went back to the 1/2 asleep state,
Wrote: "cooking"

But due to mid-year exams, had to throw the whole idea aside >>;

FJP: the REViVAL Part II

Yupps. It's the second part from where I stopped last time.
Oh, btw, FJP: the REM4KE was just a temporary "remake"... ...just for the sake of getting this whole relaunch idea TEMPORARILY out of my mind; so as to get myself started with the mid-year revision (which didn't really work out as I hoped so; the wallpaper's rather inspiring though).

I thought that this is the time to have this whole relaunch plan (the original idea of it) carried out.
Yaaa.. y'know.. IT'S HOLIDAYS MAN! LOL.
I don't think during this 2-week-holidays one will... get his butt back to that 'skyscrapping'-tall pile of BOOKS and start that whole revision-marathon after 3 whole weeks of 'breath-taking' exam eh?
No offense anyway.

For this Part II, I don't plan to write much like what I'm doing now x-x;

The spacing in between the line and "November 2008" might vary when viewed in different browsers:

Mozilla Firefox: (I'm just gonna leave this blank. You'll know what I mean, just try out.)
Internet Explorer: everything looks fine except for THAT spacing which I have mentioned.
Google Chrome: perfectly fine. (I suppose; according to a classmate though - thank you munny :))

Alright.
This is it! ...the post I mentioned earlier.
Note that this is only Part 1 of 'FJP what?'-
In this post, I'll be focusing on the 'origins' of FJP.

Actually FJP was 'founded' (LOL) around Jan.-Feb. 2009.
Jan. end if I'm not mistaken.
FJP was ORIGINALLY a guild I created in one of the MMOs I played.

Why the 3 alphabets anyway?
Well.. actually...
I DON'T KNOW EITHER >>; (now that's dumb)
All I could recall is.. ME- having a hard time thinking of a dumb guild name-
BUT eager to create one-
Ended up- FJP as it is called today.

In short, I would say that the letters F-J-P are random picks.
Knowing well that all guild names should be at least 4 characters long-
FJP just won't make it.
And hence, P for Paradise.

And this makes you wonder...
Why of all the P- words, PARADISE?
If you look up 'paradise',
I'm sure there's this... 'heaven' thingy... etc etc.

Uhh, well... I took the other def. instead.
Something doing with... 'a place or state of complete happiness'.
Of course such happiness is rather... unachievable.
Neither is it desirable. Also, it sounds ridiculous.
But just to fit in a P- word- (+ the excitement I was having at that moment),
I simply had to accept it.
With a slight hope that members joining FJP-
Will have that undesirable yet ridiculous state of happiness.
*aHem* -COMPLETE HAPPINESS! 8D
ROFLMAO. No way!

I guess it will be best for me to have this birthday-banner making 'task' put to a temporary stop.
Getting tired already.
But I'll be making my very last one for aLi.
And hence, to those whom I have promised banners, I deeply apologise.

I admit most of my decisions made lately have indeed led to disappointment.
I did not wish for all these.
I just don't want to get myself into a state of 'over-self-straining' (whatever the way you put it).
It is of no fun at all!

Putting this to a stop is rather saddening (for myself)...

Indeed, the FALL ended 2 days ago.
Due to laziness, i was not able to have the "banner" ready to be posted up.
